The CUA was formed
by Jon Stokoe
Jon Stokoe 6th Dan founder of the union wanted to be able to teach Aikido with a "Laissez-faire" approach. He did not want to be held down by the politics that sometimes surrounds other unions. The obvious answer was to start his own.
He is a senior coach with the Shin-Gi-Tai Aikido Society Wales.
Shin-Gi-Tai is British Aikido Board Recognised.
